The Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth
A Missionary Diocese

Through offering our support, we enable our people and our communities to grow, to become missionary and to thrive. We are working towards all of our churches becoming outward-looking churches.

our mission

We, the people of the Parish of St Peter and the Winchester Martyrs, seek to bring people closer to Jesus Christ in hope and joy.

Our mission is rooted in the teaching of Jesus Christ and in the life of the Church. We seek to proclaim the Gospel clearly, celebrate the liturgy with reverence and beauty, and support one another in daily Christian living.
We grow as disciples through prayer, ongoing formation and strong community life, and we reach out in service to those in need, sharing the compassion of Christ with our local area and beyond.
