Candlemas, celebrated on February 2nd, marks the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple and is a feast of light and hope, symbolising Christ as the light of the world and traditionally observed with the blessing of candles. This event is also the launchpad for St Peter's Centenary celebrations “Light of the World” and “A Place for All.”
