Making sense of life not making sense
There is joy in knowing we will forever be getting to know God. Even though life often doesn’t make sense, we shouldn’t assume God doesn’t make sense. For anyone who has battled suffering, walked away from faith under the pressure of crushing doubt, never felt safe giving faith a chance, or cared about someone who struggles with these realities, the resource ‘Seriously, God?’ is our invitation to journey through Lent with each other as we come to a place of deeper faith in God.
We are inviting everyone to get to know God and each other during Lent by meeting in small groups. Please join us as we begin this eight week video and book study of Seriously, God? Making Sense of Life Not Making Sense by Fr. Michael White and Tom Corcoran. Each week the group will watch a short video and cover a chapter from the book, exploring the feelings we experience when we face hardship, pain, and grief: we will journey through Lent with each other as we come to a place of deeper faith in God. Experienced leaders will guide the groups and the meetings will last around an hour. This is a great way to prepare spiritually for Easter and we look forward to welcoming you to join one of the groups.
You can also sign up to receive a daily email from Fr Mark: a short message to read each morning to help on your journey.
