Bamenda Sunday – Standing Together in Faith
Each year on the first Sunday of November, we celebrate our deep bond with the Archdiocese of Bamenda in Cameroon. Since 2016, civil unrest has devastated the region, yet the Church remains a lifeline—providing education, healthcare, and shelter for thousands of displaced people, often the only services available. Your support offers more than practical help; it brings hope and reminds our brothers and sisters that they are not forgotten.

🎉 Centenary Kick-Off: Celebrating 100 Years of Faith & Community

In 2026, St Peter’s Church marks its 100th anniversary—a milestone honouring a century of joyful worship, deep friendships, and shared hope inspired by the Winchester Martyrs.

But this celebration reaches far beyond one building—it embraces our entire parish family across Alresford, Oliver’s Battery, Stockbridge, and beyond. Together, we celebrate a legacy of love, belonging, and faith lived in community.

As we stand just four months away from a historic milestone, we joyfully begin the countdown to 100 years of God’s faithfulness. Our journey at St Peter’s Winchester has been marked by bringing people closer to Jesus Christ in hope and joy. We would like to invite everyone to be part of the joy as we celebrate every moment with gratitude, and with a heart wide open, we continue to live out our calling to be ‘a place for all’.

As the celebrations are set to begin- month by month, each event will honour our rich heritage, celebrate our present blessings and look forward to what amazing things God has in store.

ANNUAL PARISH PARTY – St Peter’s – Sunday 29th June

Thank you to everyone who made the Parish Party such a success—especially Sarah and her catering team, our helpers and welcomers, and the Ukrainian, African, Filipino, and Goan groups for their joyful dancing and vibrant spirit.

The day celebrated our parish’s diversity and offered a glimpse of what’s to come in the Centenary Year. Looking ahead, we hope more communities will join in, with creative contributions and deeper collaboration through shared liturgy and fellowship.
